Dincel Construction System does not provide installation services. It is most commonly erected by the formworking sub-contractor. However, your carpenter or a handyman with little or no training can easily install the system. A free of charge installation training session is available from DCS with your choice of installers. Each installation team will also receive a comprehensive Construction Manual to assist them. The installation by formworking trades offers many significant advantages to the builder and the formworking trade simultaneously. Download – FORMWORKERS BENEFITS. The speed of installation is 1m2/worker/minute for straight walls without doors and windows opening.
It is much more cost effective than any other comparable walling system. - WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW PRIOR TO ORDERING?
DCS does not require you to commit yourself to a material purchase contract for your entire project. You can buy any quantity to suit your construction program, e.g. material adequate for each floor level.
DCS consists of accessories which are supplied in stock lengths. The main modules are supplied as per order length which allows less site handling, less wastage and also less storage space is required during production. This necessitates controlled pre-planning by customers and DCS. DCS can only program itself for confirmed orders.
Prior to placing an order, satisfy yourself with the document titled Conditions of Sale of Dincel Construction System (Download – CONDITIONS OF SALE) for payment and other commercial conditions which will be provided to the buyers at the commencement of their purchasing.
1. Ordering and Payment
The general procedure to place an order with Dincel Construction System is as follows:
- The buyer or project engineer/architect or Dincel Construction System on behalf of the buyer must determine the type, numbers and lengths of the product.
- Customer fills in the Dincel Order Form (Download – DINCEL ORDER FORM) and forwards the form to DCS.
- The buyer and Dincel Construction System to determine the mutually agreed delivery date.
- The production by Dincel Construction System commences only after finalising all commercial conditions outlined in Dincel Construction System’s Conditions of Sale. (Download – CONDITIONS OF SALE)
- Deliveries can take place as soon as possible after ordering. However, the customers should co-ordinate their respective orders with consideration of up to two (2) weeks lead time. Upon processing of your order, DCS will confirm when delivery can take place.
2. Documentation Maybe Required
In order to get the best benefit from the system, the project architect needs to plan and dimension the project to suit profile sizes. Refer Construction Manual for Designers and Builders.
Shop drawings for ordering and construction purposes can be organised by your engineer, architect, construction manager or Dincel Construction System at a cost. The system is simple enough so that many current users are organising their own ordering without the need for shop detailing. The basement walls and party walls rarely require shop detailing. However, façade walls with openings, lift and stair shafts are recommended for shop detailing for the purposes of better co-ordination at the time of installation.
- How Deliveries Are OrganISed ?
DCS or the customer may organise the transportation for deliveries within the Sydney Metropolitan Area. DCS customers need to organise their own transportation outside of the Sydney Metropolitan Area.
